keepin it OEM Plus+ I want to upgrade now that stock parts are failing. Wanna keep a clean daily or sort of sleeper. I like subtle style. keepin a theme or keepin it klean. I wanna see if this will do a quarter mil miles or more! LOL

UPDATE:

So my Tc didn't make it. It's been over a year since this accident. It made me sad to lose my car but thankful I'm ok. Maybe someday I'll find a used tc1 and start all over again.

Actually just raised my tC up. It really wasn't feasible for me to sit that low. I'm the friend that always ends up carrying around the other friends so I'd be down to the wheel lip when I had the lgihtweights in the back. I've now just barely cleared the tires and I'm waiting to see how this works out. Pic of new height: http://i.clbsn.com/photos/1/57/87490_22222b93c9.jpg

    haha thanks!

  • antiks @ May 04, 2012 11:09AM

hahaha thats sucks. but yea take your time and i really suggest getting that primer i suggest it and coat it with that and sand and smooth it out as best as possible so when you paint it it will stick evenly

  • antiks @ May 04, 2012 10:26AM

one thing i learned never use a dremel to strip paint off plastic pieces. instead of actual stripping the paint your just spreading it around. i suggest stop using the dremel and do this by hand. use 400 grit wet/dry sand paper then move to 1000 grit sand paper to smooth out all the imperfections. then i would use fillable/sandable primer to fill in the guages you dremel made. then countinue to sand. once you get the desired finish on primer let dry for a little bit then do a lite coat of desired color and when it seems a little dry then reapply until you get the desired look.
