does anyone know if theres some chemical or acids that can take off paints from rims. not the paint u spray but the ones that comes with the rim. or is the only way to get it off is to sand it? let me know. i wanan take off my black mesh face on my wheels.
    Paint Stripper , Google it.
I used airplane paint stripper from Advanced Auto Parts to remove the paint off of my factory rims, it is hard work and it does take time but it does the best work.
    Nasty paint coming off.

i love paint strippers they know how to get on to stick to wood
AirPlane Stripper/remover is AWESOME....but VERY dangerous. You must use chemical resistant gloves and not pour it in a plastic tub. Always use metal containers b/c it will eat right through plastic in about 30-45 seconds. Needles to say, when it lands on your shoes, you'll have holes in them the next day as well......been there, done that.
nice guys, this was something i was gonna ask. so i went to the auto store earlier and saw aircraft paint remover. im guess it should be as strong too? well im very curious and yet afraid i could ruin my rims lol. but nice pictures.

yes and I wouldnt recommend breathing the stuff in either
    it`s 100% ammonia ! use a respirator !
This is after. It is also clear coated and before you ask I used Duplicolor primer followed by Dupli color Gunmetal wheel paint and Duplicolor wheel clear coat.

These are stock rims that came with the car so just look at a stock tC.
Caustic Acid works too and is really cheap!
(thats if you can get your hands on some)
    (usually for industrial use)

it comes in flakes and you mix with water
it would need to mixed strong to remove paint

DO NOT LET THIS GET ON YOUR SKIN OR EYES !
    this is my rim http://www.wheelsnext.com...ma_evolve_gbk_lip_2_w.jpg[img]
