I know the answer is no, but thought I'd ask anyway if anyone has/had these on their tC. Kind of surprised I didn't see any threads on them on here or SL.

Both are made by TB Performance, a company I've never heard of. Pics can be viewed here: http://www.tbperformanceproducts.com/scion-tc1.php

Scion Tc1 Front Cross Member Brace
This brace works by linking the two halves of the front crossmember together which in turn reduces the amount of chassis flex caused by the lack of torsional rigidity in the area. This area is a known weak point on almost every single front wheel drive car and by bracing it you will notice a vast improvement in body roll and steering response.

    Scion Tc1 Rear Tie Brace
The Rear bushing tie brace is the penultimate in eliminating bushing deflection caused by the factory rear end. This type of deflection cause a significant amount of body roll and causes an unpredictable ride characteristic.

I'm not sure why there not more popular. Maybe they just suck at advertising?

don't know how I missed that thread, thanks.

wish they made these for our gen... apparently they're only available for the 2nd gen.

trying to get my car track ready for the spring, so I'm going all out on suspension.

Yeah,tc owner don't really talk about them. Definitely a good performance upgrade.
Tanabe has one, but they haven't released it yet

I'm about to order their "stage 4" kit I here there is some fabricating of the parts due to not so good quality control so some of the holes occasionally don't match up properly but if you know what your doing it's easily fixable once I get them installed I will do a wrote up and review on all the pieces but I'm also going to be on BC coilovers so I won't be able to give a "from stock" improvements but I'll defiantly share my experience.

What suspension mods are you planning on using?
I'm saving up for suspension mods myself.
My list includes a progress sway bar, ingalls rear brace,GT-Spec front bar, and if released the Tanabe underbrace.

Why are you specifically waiting for a tanabe under carriage brace instead of the one in the OP?

There shouldn't really be any advantage from one to the other, They're all pieces of metal that connect point A to point B. Hell if your good with steel you could make one.

Also, it seems from the SL thread that it does help a little. It looks like a good mod though, its some what cheap, its easy to install and worse case is that it doesn't help that much but still does no bad.

This will be my setup my the end of March:

    BC Racing coilovers
    Ingalls 4-point rear strut brace
    Greddy front strut bar
    Megan C-pillar bar

Hotchkiss front and rear sway bars
    Ingalls Front Sway Bar Endlinks
    Dezod Rear Sway Bar Endlinks

I already have the first 2 things on the list and the Greddy front strut bar should come in tommarow and now I'm thinking about adding the front and rear underbraces from TB Performance on the list.

what do you guys think? anything else I can throw on?
A rear strut bar and maybe some lower arm bars (traction bar) a C piller brace and that's about all you can do, then just upgrade the breaks to some slotted rotors ss lines and EBC pads and you should be rocking and Rollin in the track and have a great platform for adding HP.

The Ingalls 4-point rear strut brace I have is better than just a 2-point rear strut bar you see on most cars because it double-triangulates the rear shock towers to the rear frame rails.

    like this:

so I've already got that covered...

and I'm pretty sure they don't make traction bars for the tC... at least not the 1st gen.

added c-pillar brace to list, thanks.
Sell me your OEM rear sway bar endlinks when you upgrade.

Yea I'm stuck with the two point rear strut brace lol but hey something is better than nothing I suppose. I like what your doing with the suspension I haven't installed the coils yet I'm picking them up Wednesday and ordering the TB stuff for the price you can't complain. Traction bars shouldn't be hard Tb performance may just make some if you ask there pretty much just fabricating and welding pieces. The C. Puller brace is nice and keeps the chassis rigid and added bonus is no more sun roof flexing and squeeking. I'm looking forward to my setup as someone mentioned you may not be the fastest TC in town but you will defiantly catch them in the turns lol.

what kind of tires are you planning on using?
Like byronthecarguy said upgrading the brakes is another step in performance,
SS lines, performance brake pads, and high performance brake fluid.

Looking at the pictures they look very similar.
They need to do more advertising
Updated SL thread, I have the stage 2 kit with 3 braces, now the trunk brace is a problem since the material used is pretty thin compared to the other 2 underbody braces.

    http://www.scionlife.com/forums/showthread.php?t=219996
I think i'm going to buy the the front and read under body brace. I'm not going to get the trunk brace, my Ingalls 4 point brace is better.

let us know how they perform when you get them, I was gonna get the hotchkis front and rear sways before the under braces.

Why not get the progress rear sway bar and upgrade the bushings to Energy Suspensions.
the hotchkis ones are beefier, I believe the largest (in diameter) available for the tC.

Ahh, gotcha, the Hotchkis is 27MM and the Progress 22MM, I would still look into upgrading the bushings. I sent you a PM about end links.
