Other then to say stay out of it you cannot do anything, even time will remove the smell. New car smell is partly due to the adhesives that hold upholstery in and Latex that keeps carpet together. As the fumes die down and the opening and closing of the doors vent the smell out your car will naturally lose the smell. Keep it clean, dont fart in it and most of all don't eat in it you should make it last the longest.Oh yes and wash your feet Odoreaters are a good idea.
actually toyota's new car smell is less toxic b/c they found out the smell isn't very healthy for you so they're using a different adhesive. or so a friend who works at the Nummi plant in fremont, ca told me.
i got in my car the other day and it had the new car smell... i've had it since October AND i smoke in it. i just keep my baby super super super OCD clean and never eat it in. i go thru bottles of Febreeze like its nobody's business.
