Hey winter is just around the corner for me in Wisconsin and when we get snow we really get snow. I just was wondering from other tC owners who have to deal with this if the tC handles good and runs properly in the snow?!
im in PA and MD and dealt with some snow last yr......not anything like upstate new york but on several occasions i had to drive it in 3"-5" or so. i thought it didnt do too bad. Except for on the monster of a hill to get into my apartment at the time....it really sucked you had to make a 90 degree right turn as the hill comes right down onto the road there was no room for acceleration or a running start. i mastered it tho but other then that i thought the tC def did better then my neon!! ahhaha
I didn't mention that I put aftermarket 15" aluminum wheels also. I don't know if there is a size for the 17" OEM wheels. The size I got in 15's (I forget exactly right now) but they are very close to the 17 in OD. The reason for the 15" wheels is that the narrower the tire the better it is in the snow. Less snow it has to negotiate.
