    Racing wise, when do you guys shift. Red line?
    i shift at about 5500 rpms... sometimes 6000

    i have a shift light that's adjustable, however, it's usually set at around 5500 rpms...i'd shift right before you redline due to the delayed reaction from the literal process of shifting...i'd be careful to redline often also....
    i shift between 5500 and 6000
    I shift 1,2nd at about 5800 or 6k some times.
    3,4,5th at about 5500.
    No biggie hitting red line you'll just bounce off the rev limiter miss your shift,spaz out and end up spinning in to a ditch...

    i shift every gear at 6k... i noticed at the track if i shifted at 5800 that my time was increased about .2 so id shift at 6k for the best time!

    yeah, pretty much, and slap your steering wheel and say "SHIT!" and then you're gonna go to the nearest performance shop and look for nitrous as an excuse for your shitty shifting. After that you're gonna race an rx-7 in which you pressed the nitrous too early and blew your engine while losing.

    after that you wind up buying a supra that is a total piece of junk and turning it into a bright orange 10 sec car and racing a blown dodge charger
