Hey all! New here hoping to find other Scion owners that are passionate about their car or cars in general. I'm a disabled veteran and have tons of free time. So I spend a lot of that on my car. My wife always teases me and says, "You gonna kiss your car too?" lol :/ I don't think I'm that bad. I am fairly new to Vegas and although it may be because of the area where I live, doesn't seem like there's much of a car scene here. :/ I'm hoping to meet up with other scion owners and just hang out. I do love the 1st gen TC. The picture in my garage is an actual pic of my car but the graphics are a photoshop mock-up render I created. I have about $20k worth of stuff I want to do to my car. And I hope I can achieve them. I'm a huge car guy. I prefer to do any maintenance or mod stuff myself. If I can that is. I have a habit of getting every detail about my car when I buy it. So I know everything about my TC. My username means "Mystery". I got that from my favorite old school batman movie "Batman Forever" with Jim Carrey. Where he played the riddler whose name was Edward Nigma or Mister E. Hope I can find a lot of great friends and info here. Hope I can provide something useful while I'm here too. Pleasure to meet you all!

    Hello Mister_E,

    Welcome to CStC!

Welcome! I'm new too and can definitely relate to the way you love your car, I'm the same exact way and just now joined these forums after years of using it for research!
    Hello bossprecision,

    Welcome to CStC!

    MR LUV
@bossprecision Nice to meet you! I actually did basic at Fort Leonard Wood over 20 years ago

I'm so bad that I have a spreadsheet with all the specs of my car and another tab with all of the items that I intend on buying. I take very good care of my car. I ordered copies of all of the service records going back to the cars' birthdate. When I bought it, the previous owner never took care of it. Not even basic stuff. I bought it from a used car dealership. They said that they did the regular scheduled maintenance but after buying it the alternator died as well as the battery. I also noticed that there was no oil in it. I had to replace a bunch of parts in the first month. Spent over a grand in maintenance and replacement parts. I was willing to do it though cuz I love the car. There's some side damage on the passenger side near the rear tire that I didn't notice when I bought it and it's been bugging me seeing my car "injured" lol. Can't wait to find a good bodyshop to fix it. Any pics of your car in your "garage"?
