Just bought a very clean 07 TC m/t with 145k. First mod will be 08 projector housings because mine are beyond foggy and have a weird film peeling. Next step I want is a bright white bulb upgrade, but I don't know what to use and days or searching for the answer has gotten me nowhere but more confused. I don't even know if I want LED or HID..

Over the next couple of years I plan on dumping a grand into the audio, and grand into suspension, a grand on wheels, and, maybe, a grand on exterior but probably not. I just want it clean, reliable, and practical.

Any suggestions for maintenance and modifications?

I have an 07 as well that I bought over the summer. From what I was told the wiring for the standard OEM headlights and the OEM projects is different. Not sure if that applies if you go aftermarket. Someone can correct me if I am wrong

I went with LED headlights off eBay. They work well enough but I am not too concerned as I bought the car only as a car to drive to work so it does not see a light of night driving.

As for the other stuff, $4k in upgrades seems like a lot on a 12 year old car with 145k miles (suspension stuff aside). Seems as much or more than the car is worth. Just my 2 cents.

The 07s have an oil consumption problem that was covered by a now expired recall. So before committing thousands of $$$$ on fun stuff I would research common issues and go over the car mechanically to see if there is anything that needs attention.
It is a lot and more than I bought it for but I'm a pipe dreamer. Audio is a must as I really focus on clean audio and stock is never good enough. Wheels and suspension will come in time but I'll be taking it slow and buying good deals.

Trust I'm not some dumb kid looking to blow everything to get slanty wheels and win some races brah.

well good to hear, but I think it was just constructive help. I've always been partial to forged wheels, light + strong.. thinking of upgrades
