Just bought a 06 5spd TC for a DD. Really surprised how quick (not fast as in top speed vs rpm lol) and it handles like it's on rails.. I'm old school muscle car guy but been into Toyotas since 95. Even had a 72 Celica with an 18RG 5spd back in the early 2000s.

welcome to club scion tc! It's a little slow around here since scion doesn't exist as a brand anymore. But no worries, Toyota said that parts will be available for a long time. Ya the tC is made fun of, or was, but it's a nice car for what it is. Reasonably quick, and the handling isn't bad at all! I've always thought it was a sporty, long-drive cruiser. Great for long highway trips, comfortable! so look around, we have lots of info going all the way back to when scion began around 03-04.
    Hey Welcome New guy.
