DIY yourself and save over $200 , amazing. I would DIY myself honestly. I say nay to the alarm system becuz the % someone will come over and check out your car.... small chance. I heard a white benz alarm go off the other day in a grocery store parking lot in a nice neighborhood and it was night time, no one went over. I just looked over and shrugged and went home to cook my steak. lol .
there are ton of wires n crap, id rather pay for it. i tried to do it w my basic corolla, after about 30 mins trying to figure out what to do i gave up n took it too circuit city at the time to get it done.
DON'T do this unless you have experience installing alarms.
I too had an alarm with remote start on my old car. Probably one of my next mods honestly. It was nice having the car warmed up and nice and cool already every morning. I'd always start my car a few minutes before leaving anywhere to let the ac cool the car a bit.
ive hear about some crazzy remote start instal where all elecronics go bad n shit works on its on lol. im trying to see if it maybe cheaper to buy it n get installed somewhere w warranty like best buy or place i posted abover
