Hi, I am a new member, I have seen posts from here but never image myself posting here. I have a 2014 scion. Today while I am doing transmission fluid change, I notice there were a lot of cracks near it. I am not sure about what the part is.

Can you help me to look into it? Is it normal?

Just that specific part if cranking. The metal right next to it is
Totally normal, nothing to worry about. Those are typical surface features for a large die-cast aluminum part for under-hood use. They're not cracks, more like ridges.

Where the aesthetics matter, they can use different casting processes that reduce or eliminate these features. But that's more expensive, and for a transmission case it's overkill.
    Thanks for answering!
