    Hey folks,
have a 2005 TC down here in Fla, very hot and a lot of the rubber and moldings around the windows are crumbling. my problem is finding replacements and how to's removing many of them? found the belt window moldings on ebay, but the rubber around the window track in side is crumbling. also the rubber around the back passenger windows . can that be removed or do I need to buy new glass? the rubber bumpers under the rear hatch are hard as a rock and cracked! just bought the car and am not sure where the f8ck this was parked to rot all the rubber this much! my 2006 was down here until it was totaled and was never having this much rotted rubber. very hard to find the parts . the names of the parts are hard to get matches for even on auto parts sites many searches come up zero!!! thank you all for who ever may answer or read!! also the winshild and hatch also seem difficult to remove ! thank you all !

any dealership would have these part numbers. so would mcgeorge toyota parts online. The rubber most times cannot be removed alone, it surrounds the glass and is installed with the glass. The glass would have to me removed to have the gasket/molding replaced. Sometimes that means the glass might break when the molding is being removed. Now the belt molding along the bottom of the door glass can be replaced without damaging the door glass. That is easy to replace. Post up a picture of this degradation.

oh you'll come up with ZERO aftermarket because the tC wasn't produced in large numbers! It's not profitable for them, only the dealer would have these parts, or a junkyard. Sounds like the car was left in the desert! But pictures would be helpful to see.
