Hello fellas, I want to ask is it normal for the pressure light to blink around 1 minute after turning on the car, then stopping.

Also one of my tires was leaking and it didn't do anything other than that (blinking same as usual).
Are the batteries in the sensors low, do I need new ones?
I tried resetting the light, from the glove box and nothing changes.

Aalso, Im getting new wheels (waiting for shipping atm.) and putting them in the summer tires, stock ones are going for the winter and I wonder what to do with the sensors
    1) Put these on the new ones and then getting them on the winter tires and wheels. Which is not a good choice.
    2) Getting aftermarket sensors
    3) Driving without sensors at summer time (will the light be constantly on)

    Thnaks in advance!

hey stin.. yeah I'm thinking the batteries are dying, they only last like 5-7 years usually. And what sucks, you can't replace the batteries! have to buy new ones. If you can get aftermarket ones that work with the stock system.. and they're cheaper.. go for the cheaper ones. Stupid government put those in because people are too lazy to check their air pressures..

yeah you can drive with the light on until you put the winter tires on. It's not a big deal oooh a light is on.. everyone is going to die! lol.. you'll be fine if you go that route!
Ahahaa.. today I mailed one tire shop and they asked for a price close to my month salary, heeelll no. Can i deactivate the whole tire pressure system ?

I don't think there's a factory de-activation for the system. Never heard of one, short of ripping the entire system out of the car. And yeah crazy on those prices! Ever think of looking at rockauto.com? Maybe having it shipped to one of those international shippers/receiver places? Might be cheaper that way.
