    Hey y'all,

I am about to have my brakes replaces. Was wondering what's a good brand? Was planning on going to advanced, but I dont want to end up buying cheap crap..

    Thanks!
I am in the middle of this myself. The first thing you must ask yourself is what kind of driving you are going to be doing? Are you a hard driver, autocrosser or easy driver?

I found that for heavy drivers and auto crossing:
EBC red or yellow brakes pads (Thanks Web for info on them)
    EBC Cross Drill or Slotted.

    For daily or easy driving:
    Akebono Brake pads (ceramic)
    OEM rotors.
    Factory pads.
    Raybestos Pads (ceramic)

I have not tried the Akebono but have read decent reviews on them. Raybestos has always been really good pads and they also make rotors performance and OEM.

I hope this helps you out some.
i have to add Hawk HPS pads are really good!! Lasted me almost 2 years including daily and track driving!
