Does anyone have any plans for the seats in their tC other than installing racing seats. If your keeping your factory seats, do you have any plans for them?Is anyone planning on installing leather seats in their tC?I-ve seen some very good looking aftermarket leather seats installed on some cars. Below is an example of some aftermarket leather seats installed in an RSX. The original seats were Black Cloth. If not leather, what about custom seat covers? I-ve also seen some really nice looking custom seat covers that look great. Below is an example of aftermarket seat covers installed in a Scion XB and I think they look great.I-m not sure what i-m going to do with the seats in my tC. I have factory leather in my current car although i-m not a fan of leather. I ordered my current car with Orange leather because personally I think it looks cool in my Silver car.I-m leaning toward installing some cool/odd/different color leather seats in my tC. Something that-s going to serioulsy contrast with the exterior of my tC.C1 Bender
Personally, I would be hesitant to replace the seats because the front seat can be let down so that you can basically sleep in the car. That is what it would take for me to be interested in replacing the standard seats.

Very good point bro, and I could not agree with you more. In regards to the aforementioned Leather Seats, and Seat Covers, you would not have to replace the current factory TC seats, only the seat covers would be replaced. In regards to the leather seats, the leather would simply replace the standard factory cloth seat covers, leaving you with the same factory TC seats with leather instead of cloth. And in regards to the seat covers mentioned, they would simply slip over the current factory TC seats.C1 Bender
Where would you get the leather seat covers from and how much would they be?

You can get the leather seat covers from I-ve seen there work on several cars locally and it looks very good, FACTORY LEATHER GOOD.C1 Bender
Any idea as to how much it would cost to transform the factory seats into leather seats from that one company thats meantioned
Im discussing 2-colored custom leather with my dealer for my white tC. There is this lady here in denver that does some sick work and she is working with Burt Toyota, so they can throw that in my financing. Now, I dunno what goes better with white... Was thinking Black and dark gray or Black and light gray... what do you guys think?

Personally I would go with Black and Light Gray. But for something extreme and very nice, I would go with Red Leather. I think Red would look good in a white Scion. Since you-ve decided on Black, I would go with the Light Gray as the contrasting color. Good Luck and please share pics with us when you take delivery.C1 Bender
What do you think is good to go with a flint or silver tc?

    IMO blue would look good.

I thought about other colors too, but I dunno how red would look when everything else in the car is black or dark gray. Do you guys have any pics of a car that has colored seats inside that does not match anything else inside the car? That 350Z up there looks nice... need to see some more of those to come to a conclusion.

Not that i-m a major advocate of Red, but I think a nice Dark Red or a very, very Light Grey would look awesome in a Flint Mica TC.And in a Silver TC you could go with almost any color, but Black, Medium Bright Red or a Dark Orange would look very nice.C1 Bender
Is $1350 too much? I-m not up to par on the pricing of changing out seats.

i was quoted that to have custom two tone seats done in my tib, i wouldn-t think it would be much more for the TC
I-m not 100% positive $1350 will be the final price, though it is kinda pricey that is the standard price for leather these days. The price $1350 is an estimated guess from one of the websites I read the article on. Scion hasn-t mentioned a final price on the leather seats. I guess We-ll have to just wait and see for it to come out.P.S. The leather seats package comes with leather seats in the rear too. And the center armrest isn-t cloth anymore.
I was shopping around for something similar to factory so I can still enjoy the tC-s -make-out- features. Ive seen a couple of Ricorro-s that look like they may work,, I will take some measurements this weekend.
Enkidu, I think a sweet choice for the seats would be black with white inlets. The contrast would be something different, but since the car is white, it would match, and I think it would look pretty sick. I-ve seen pics of showcars that were white and had black/white interiors, and they always look really clean and really cool.
Hey all,I priced out black/red inserts in leather for my tC and from the dealer here in Long Island, they want $1800. I went to autoleathers, and a few local places and found pricing with install to be around $1400. I had thought about black leather, but i had an SLK320 with Black/red interior and it was hot. Especially with Silver exterior.
I-m definately getting some Red Corbeau seats.

I wanna get some cool black katskinz (or however you spell it) with orange inserts and the cross stitching. I think it said like 500 for the kit, but i was curious how much installation would be I-d do it myself but I have class and work (and girlfriend) so much I don-t have 20 minutes to myself unless its like now in the middle of the night. Thanks guys!
