Im am looking at this SRI and wondering if it will fit my 2006 tc? I read somewhere that the 06 model has a different MAF sensor size?

Anyone have this SRI on their 06?

When u search for the weapon R intake....the title should also state what years it'll fit.....I just googled weapon R intake myself and there's Weapon R intakes for 05-06 and 07-09....as for the MAF sizes....05-06 is different from 07 and above if I'm not mistaken
Ok thanks so much, yea i found the 05-06 Weapon R SRI..
Wasnt able to find it earlier..
make sure you get a bigger throttle body... if you dont and you just buy the intake its not really adding hp or tq at all...your stock air intake is gunna have colder air than a new short ram intake
^^ Where can we purchase this for the tC ?

This comes the debate between colder air vs faster intake of air. As Web had tested yes at longer idles the cai is obviously colder. Probably the stock airbox too. But at average runs 30mph or more the temp is quite close. If any difference at all. At least with the Sri you get faster intake of air. And I have never heard of needing a larger throttle body? Could be true but I haven't heard of it before. But with any intake you won't get much hp or tq at all regardless. All you get is better throttle response and change of tone of the car. Maybe some mpg.

A throttle body spacer will do nothing on a 2AZ-FE, and there is no dyno to prove it. Here is why:

They actually work better on carbed motors over fuel injected mainly b/c one of the limitations of carbs is the amount of airflow they can get into the intake manifold. Running the higher dump carbs will cause the cars to run more rich, obviously, so the spacer gives them the ability to run the higher pump carbs safely and with enough of an A/F mix to run strong and clean.
