Good research, ya from what I recall that sounds correct. I guess I like to be lazy, lol. Dry is easier. I was reading about research into air filters over at bob is the oil guy forums. What they showed was more air flow = more dirt entering your engine. They were showing that k&n sacrificed filtering for air flow. There's always a trade off. I can see why MRLUV went with the TRD set up. I doubt toyota would do something to harm their own cars.. Hey they're no angels but it just doesn't sound like TRD.

Wow TRD is $100 more?! sheesh.. did you check mcgeorgeparts.com and sparksparts.com?? those are both Toyota dealers that sell TRD.
