I remember some threads on here and some were saying that Toyota has the Injen intake offered but will not install it because of emissions. Well today I was at Toyota getting the oil changed and the cigarette lighters fixed in my moms tC. When I pulled in a silver tC with the TRD wheels caught my eye. After our car was taken to the back I looked at the tC. The dealer install sticker had an Injen intake on the list.
I guess they do install the intake at the dealer?

Sorry for the pics. Camera phone

That is not injen, it is not even CAI, and the cost is 429.00 WTF!!! Go to another Dealer they are crap at those cost.

Admin cost 599. The admin cost at my dealer is 125.
what the hell is that? it doesnt look like the injen CAI that can be converted to Short ram. it is too short.
lol..yeah that looks like some one shit on the stock air box and colored it with silver....and $429...rofl, fuckin dealerships!!!
probably put on by previous owner, and dealership is trying to profiteer on the next buyer.

hhmmmm it is listed under "Dealer Added Equipment and Services" though.
It is an Injen intake, it may not be fore the tC though. It had an Injen heatshield and the pipe had an Injen engraving on it.
It did have a lot of room. Ive never seen an intake with all that room left over.....

The car is an 06 with 22miles, its a test model only. Maybe thats why the intake looks the way it does.

"denotes added to price by dealer" not necessarly installed by dealer.

Reason I thought that it was used is because of the sticker, looks like a used car sticker. It definitely is not the injen intake for the tC.
That's just messed up. I feel bad if someone actually pays that price on that tC. Are dealers allowed to mark up the price on tC accessories? I thought the B-Pillar Applique was only $60 or so.
almost 2G's for the 18's..... Thats just wrong
I have the Injen CAI for the tC and thats not it. This dealership must really believe that people are that dumb. That shit is way overpriced.
    LOL!!! B-Pillar Applique 149.00!!!!

WTF! That is high way robbery. You can get that online for like 50 bucks.

those are the Racing Hart J5s
I'd go to Toyota w/that bullshit, so much for "Pure Pricing" that's the biggest crock I think I've ever seen. If you have one near you, go to Carmax, they're awsome to work with, had me a car exactly as I wanted it, and didn't drill holes in the front of my car even though it's the law in Maryland. I hope people aren't that dumb
I actually got on to scion.com and had a chat with a rep. Told her about the second sticker and she said with Pure Pricing, Toyota gives them an MSRP. It's merely suggested. They can actually set whatever price they want but the "Pure Pricing" means there's no haggling the price. The price posted is the price it's sold as.

I know this makes absolutely no sense but that's what she told me.
