Image Issues Fixed
We made some changes when migrating the site from one AWS account to another, and this resulted in some ill-configured images in various parts of the site. We have fixed the problem. You may need to clear browser cache to fix the issue.

Need help on removing Scion xB cooling fan assembly

    First off I did many searches and couldn't find anything on this topic and was wondering if anyone has tried removing this on the 2nd gen XB? The way the cooling fans are mounted in my tc is way different from how it's mounted on the XB
    Here are the step by step but keep in mind you don't have to always do every step. GL

    TOYOTA Instructions.

    1. REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM
    2. REMOVE NO. 1 RADIATOR GRILLE GARNISH
    3. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE
    4. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER
    5. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT
    6. REMOVE BATTERY
    7. SEPARATE NO. 1 WATER HOSE CLAMP BRACKET
    8. SEPARATE HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY
    *9. REMOVE HOOD LOCK SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY
    10. DISCONNECT INLET RADIATOR HOSE
    11. DISCONNECT OUTLET RADIATOR HOSE
    12. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT CUSHION
    13. REMOVE NO. 2 FAN SHROUD
    14. SEPARATE DISCHARGE HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY
    15. SEPARATE AIR CONDITIONING TUBE AND ACCESSORY ASSEMBLY
    16. REMOVE CONDENSER
    17. DISCONNECT NO. 1 WATER BY-PASS HOSE
    *18. REMOVE RADIATOR ASSEMBLY
    *19. REMOVE LOWER RADIATOR SUPPORT

    20. REMOVE INLET RADIATOR HOSE
    21. REMOVE OUTLET RADIATOR HOSE

    22. REMOVE FAN SHROUD

    23. REMOVE NO. 2 FAN
    (a) Remove the nut and No. 2 fan.

    24. REMOVE FAN
    (a) Remove the nut and fan.

    25. REMOVE NO. 2 COOLING FAN MOTOR
    (a) Separate the wire harness clamp.

    (b) Remove the 3 bolts and No. 2 cooling fan motor.

    26. REMOVE COOLING FAN MOTOR
    (a) Separate the wire harness clamp.

    (b) Remove the 3 bolts and cooling fan motor.
