I'm looking to buy a unit for my tc to get rid of the stock radio. I personally like the stock navigation unit sold at the dealer for about 2000, but that's too much. Whack would you guys suggest. If possible post pics. Thanks
I haven't looked in a while, but I love my Kenwood/Garmin unit. It's a few years old but I have no complaints yet. I have heard that Alpine has a lot to learn about Nav, but their audio is nice.
    the one you like.

i like pioneer, look into the z120bt... how much are you looking to spend? and what features do you want?
I would like Navigation, Radio, blue tooth(optional), Rear view camera(Optional), and for it to be able to connect to Ipod.
I would also like to not loose the cover for the radio. I would like to be able to cover it when parked so that people wont get too curious.

Most of the newer units should have all the features you mentioned, nav, iPod controls, bluetooth, back up camera. granted some items may need to be purchased to do it. I added Bluetooth and iPod to mine. I have full control from touch screen. Reverse camera is going to be done soon. You should also be able to add sirius or XM to it as well. I think almost any major brand will have these features.

As far as closing the door, that is something you will need to do. It is very easy. All it took was about 30 seconds and a 3/16 drill bit. You just need to drill out 2 of the dimples on the stock metal bracket and the unit will sit back far enough to close the door. Granted if you get a stereo that has all buttons, instead of a knob like mine, it may be easier. I don't know.
thanks much, i also saw the DNX-7180 (NICEEEEEE)
