Bluetooth Not Connecting to any Devices [tC]

    Hi everyone,

I'm new to the forums and have looked up my current problem without finding a solution.
I own a 2013 tC. My Pioneer Head Unit (stock) has the option of Bluetooth. When i press the knob i can see "Bluetooth" and "Phone" Options, unlike other common problems. However, the screen displays "BTA No Connect". I've double checked everything in terms of Bluetooth being "ON" and my iPhone being in "discoverable" I have tested two iPhones and when I choose the "Pairing" option it searches forever without finding anything. My iPhones say that "CAR AUDIO" can't be found and to make sure i'm in range and it's on. Well it is!

I am seeking some help here! I've tried the "Initialize" option and i see it say "Initialized" but without my phone ever pairing.

Hope someone can help me out here!
I have a 2013 as well and sometimes nothing will connect to it and it takes a day for something to be able to connect to it
My 13' has done the same thing a few times. solution that has worked both times right away was to just shut the car off and go back into the options and then the option of "phone" has magically appeared again. Good luck!
When I bought my 2013 last year, the radio including the Bluetooth was not installed/wired properly. The dealer noticed it when I picked it up and fixed it free of charge.

The "Phone" and "bluetooth" option are both available when the car is either off or on. I'm capable of trying "oh hey let me shut off my car and try again". But thanks for thinking that I have no common sense.

And to the last poster, I'm pretty sure it has to be something internal. I'll contact my dealer soon.

I was just trying to see if there was anything else that I have NOT tried.

    Anymore help is appreciated.
