My friend recorded the syncing and some ground...so the real pull is at about 1.5mins lol

so dyno day was happening at a near by speed shop, 40 bucks for two pulls....
    MODS.

    Weapon-R header
    Cold Air Injen Intake
    Tsudo Cat-back

Simple mods but compared to some research I did, I gained about 20hp and torque...not to shabby lol

HP: 173+ (rev limitier kicked in, the shop said I could have up to 180!)
    Torque: 170

    With some tuning...190+

    lol Just wanted to share.
Thanks! Finally someone uploads a dyno video with mods
No problem! lol I figured someone might be interested. The people running the day were actually impressed with the numbers it did do, and how hard and solid it ran.

Yea many including.me do not know the power of this New engine appearantly bolt ons do something for our cars haha. If u had the green header from dezod, mid pipe from descendant, Torque solutions front mount, and the light wait pulley and some dyno tune, you would be able to reach 200+ I think also the descendant intake manifold
A stock 2006 civic si puts down 137TQ & 189HP with far less weight than the tC2....

Dont get me wrong, the SI isnt fast either, but it just goes to show that toyota didnt intend for the tC2 to be fast lol
Damn that is exciting thank you for taking the time to do this.
About time people start showing some faith in these cars...

I have a descendent intake manifold and ive noticed when i step on the gas hard there is a slight break in power then a huge hit with.power. I absolutely love it, although your throttle body will sit differently so you will need to modify your intake. With short velocity stacks and your intake of air being directly sucked into those stacks, it is probably as close to ITB's as you can get without fabricating them. Not to thread jack, but i think its worth the money, others dont, its all in what you like i guess.

I don't think they offer an intake manifold for the tC2 yet. I asked Rob Cardona about what all they offered and all he said was they currently only offer their turbo kit for the tC2.

If cardona doesn't know they make it then I think the info on the description is wrong haha

Would we actually have reasonable gain for that amount of cash? How much hp or gains can we expect?

It would seem the description is wrong, unless the manifolds are the same.

With the people I've talked to yes!. That's the way to go if you want to reach high hp numbers. If you want to go n/a this will help u a lot as well as buying a sorta standalone to tune your whole computer, aem fic II, I think zeroeyeqeue has it if not contact descendant they are the only ones I know they sell it.

Yea I'm confused to but as how I read it is that the tc1 intake manifold will fit tc2 to add additional hp?

I'm not sure, but I would get in contact with the guys at Descendant before I bought that manifold for a tC2.

Go ahead and let me know too I'm interested. With all the parts I mentioned above are in.my car, I should be good to achieve 200+ hp with the right tune for the aem fic

    Hey Rob,

One quick question for you to settle a discussion, does the intake manifold you offer for the 2AZ bolt onto the 2AR? I don't think it would, would it? Thank you
