    Pushing 235,000 miles....

I'm buying a brand new xB!

Don't get me wrong; the tC has been very good car to me. Transmission is okay, motor is burning oil to the usual high mileage mark & build up carbon other than that it's been good. I would say close to 80% of parts are still original OEM.

I need something more space and still under 20k mark. I don't wanna spend two grand to get the transmission rebuilt down the road when the car value would be way below that. Since it's still worth 4k-ish now; I owe about that on my current loan it would be wise to get outta of it before the major problems occur.

Least I'm not moving to a Kia!
congrats. got any plans for the xb?
Congrats, hope the Xb serves you well
    It's not official-

I'm going to go buy one within the next couple of weeks. I know I won't have problem getting financed. I'm in the process of playing phone tag with the salesperson; so I can schedule appointment with her.
hope you enjoy the xB! glad u kept it in the scion family. we need people like you to help scion continue to stay alive. if it wasnt for the frs and iq coming out soon, there was a slight chance of scion being discontinued in general
I like xB's thinking of getting one myself, But Keep the tC as well.
My theory is need space to fit dog crates and home depot trips. Something with good mpg. I looked at every Japanese maker's site and everything was either more than 25k or too small for that price.

Even if Scion name gets cut: it's still a Toyota.

    Well I did it....

Locked in @ 4% with TFS. They bought the car 1,700 bucks and even with the high mileage; I only had to put down 3k on the new loan. Sales consultant stated that's pretty good for the situation compared to other costumers.
Damn I feel like the car has to be worth more than $1700 even with that mileage...

    Any plans for the xB?

    I`m thinking the same..
Although, it may be hard to re-sell with that amount of mileage on it.

    To the OP-
I`m glad you are happy with your new ride !
    Good Luck with it !
    Scions are great !
Congratulations! Hope it gives you years of good service
enjoy the b, to think about it myself, i hardly miss my old tc, but then again i am having fun with my box
Congrats man. I was at Toyota the other day getting oil filters, and I have to say I wanted to trade mine in on one. I love the color on it.
    I've always wondered...

Is the xB considered a car? Van? Suv?
DMV stated "TRU" on body style on the registration.

You know it has gas tank range meter on it that automatically f
    changes.

Being used to sitting on my rear with four inches that it feels like a monster truck.
congrats on the new ride!! glad its over with lol enjoy your rs

on my registration it says van, it just depends on where you are, everyone classifies them differently

Ya, considering old 1990's rat box Civics with the same mileage pull around the same price and sometimes more... But keep in mind that's dealer pricing and no way they will sell that car. They'll auction it at best...

Well game plan was: I was expecting least 2k. 2k-1,500 i was looking at xB. 1,400-1,000 was going to look at xD. Anything below 1000 was going to be hard think either walk away or get a Yaris.

My sales consultant sold me the xA, tC, and now xB. She called few days prior telling me to come in at 3: I'm thinking she knows him quite well and she might helped the situation.

As of right now: tC is sitting in the back lot still. Not sure what's up with that; usually auction cars sit on the side of the lot. Unless it's waiting to get the final paperwork from TFS?

Get used to this color since it's the Hot Lava and it's going to be the stock color for iQ.
