I had that problem in my old car, but they were cheap pedals. These pedals are pretty legit. There is a base plate behind them. You attach the base plate to the stock pedals with two metal bands that grip it tight, they also provide VHB double face tape that you sandwich between the stock pedal and the base plate to prevent moving around. Then you screw the face plate to them, haven't had any problems. I think I saw them in a blue finish that would look great on your car.
