I ordered a Scion tC with flint mica as the preferred colored on August 27. They said the wait period will be 6 to 10 weeks. its now about 7 week. Call ed my dealer 2 weeks ago and he said 8 cars were still in front of me before I get my car and he wasn-t sure when i-ll get my car so try call next week. I call again two weeks later, and he says there are now 14 cars in front of me instead of 8 the last time i called! Aye carumba!!!! what happened me thinks! so I ask him what happened and he says some people added my preferred color option to the orders as well..... and after more inquiry, he hesitates to tell me when and says he has no idea when i-ll get mines, after awhile he says it looks might be 14 weeks or so, I-m not sure if its 14 weeks from now, or another 14 with the additional 7 that have already passed..... for a total of 21, i-ll check up a month from now with another call to the dealership.... of course hes just guessing here, and he really is unsure of the expected time frame. So i sit and wait.... and I was so ready to polish my car already hahaha, oh yeah, the dealership I ordered from was Longo in Southern California, figures.... they get a lot of business......

sounds like it-s time to start looking around at other dealers..... but 10 to 14 weeks seems to be the average wait time, now

is that the longo in El Monte? I was planning on going there around x-mas to get mine, if not Scion of Glendora.

I-d recommend Glendora, because that-s where I got mine... and they give five years free oil changes

Thats Crazy! I would be so angry I went to my dealer here in south Florida to pick up my tag and they had 4 on tC-s on the floor. 3 white and 1 flint.I definently feel your pain, I know how it is to have to wait rediculous amounts of time for things like this. Hang in there!

You know, you-re not required to have a deposit in with just one dealer...if you know what I mean.

Hey where in So Cal are you located? Try those dealers listed, and also try South Bay Toyota/Scion (Thats where I got mine, got lucky and waited 2 weeks) Torrance Toyota/Scion, Manhatten Beach, and Carson. From what I-ve seen, Carson seems to always have some tC-s for sale if you arent picky about what accessories are on the car.

Yup thats Longo in El Monte, if you want one and live in California, look around for the one you want early, and if its flint mica, black, or silver, order in advance a month or two =P so it-ll be ready for pickup than. Other colors are a bit easier to obtain. When I ordered my car, I had called around to like 10 dealerships and visited several dealerships, none had flint mica in stock due to its popularity and my second choice was black, another popular color. Chose Longo because it wasn-t too far away from my house and i-d figure the quoted 6 to 10 weeks would just be a bit longer than 4 to 6 quoted everywhere else. Had I known that it would be 10 to 14, would have ordered elsewhere. Since I already waited 7 weeks, I-ll probably patiently wait out the other 7 since i-ll be on another 4 week wait list anyways if i put a deposit elsewhere, i-ll call around and see if theres any cancelled flint micas orders and Carson Toyota and maybe i-ll get lucky, Guess i-ll have about half the cars worth in downpayment by the time I get it, lol............... which aint all so bad in interest i save

i feel your pain..... watched the news, they say ports are backlogged too and understaffed, not sure but that could be affecting your shipment, shouldn-t be too long hopefully, good luck
