Power Windows Messed Up B/C Of Tint?!?!?! HELP!!!

    I got my windows tinted on Saturday at Ziebart and they said to wait 3 days before I put my windows down. Today was 3 days and when I tried to put them down they went down very slowly. Then when I tried to put them up they jerked and stopped and went back down. Finally they went back up, but still aren't the same. The lip on the window is half up and half is stuck down in the window crease. Ziebart told me to wait 7 days before I wash the windows and that's not until this Saturday. I was wondering if i'm freaking out over nothing and if after I wash them they will be okay? Has anyone else had this problem?!? Please help! Thanks

    I accidentally put mine down the same day I got it tinted and never had that problem....I would take it back to them or maybe your window is defective. If it's defective, your warranty should cover it.

    They might have screwed up the rubber pieces inside the doors that are part of the seals to the windows . I have read a few posts on scion life where this had happened , the part of the window I am talking about is the rubber "Squeegie" that holds the window on the inside of the car , there is a secondary one located deeper in the door and it sometimes gets pushed down during the tinting process and will eventually cause scratches in the tint . Have your tint shop look it over before taking it to the dealership and if it isnt the seal then take it to the dealer

    i had my other car tinted and yes it goes a lil slow too. I just thought the tint was sticking to the rubber seals thats making it slow but now its a lil fine now.

    i played it safe and didn't roll my windows down for 2 weeks after i got mine tinted

    haha..i tired to contain myself, but being told I couldn't do something made me wanna roll my windows down right away. 3 days was a long time for me!
