Don't think they make them yet. Engine damper is your best bet right now.

There is a thread on scionlife where speedsource has made 10 sets. They probably will make more if there is enough interest. Price is almost identical to the engine dampeners.

that's cool. How much more vibration will they cause though? That's the big question for me.

I havent tried this on my tc yet, but it worked very well on my old car.

    http://importnut.net/motormount.htm

Just fill one mount at a time. I only filled the two lower mounts on my last car and not only did it work perfectly, but there was not much increase in vibration inside.

I did not use window weld though, I used some industrial urethane, but I cant find it now. I have heard good things of window weld though.

I would reccomend just filling the rear lower first if you plan on doing this. Then you can fill more if you dont like it.

If I ever get around to this project myself, I will probably have an extra mount and can make them for people with a core charge.

Wow, never heard of this. This does sound like it's a good project b/c you're stregthening the stock bushings. You could probobly do this without removing them if you have a long enough extension arm or tube you can fit on the end of the caulk gun. Good idea.

Believe it or not this really does work. It's kind of an old trick now. lol We used to do the same thing to first gen Altimas and it works great. The only thing we did different is we let it dry in layers instead of letting it sit over night. It dries better. Or you could find an old oven and bake them.

this is taken from the ZPI website:

ZPIracing is proud to announce the Pre-release of there now motor mount kit for the Scion tC. These will be a full polyurethane mount insert that will result in 75% less travel of the engine under acceleration. Keeping it polyurethane also will allow the mount to absorb the vibration at idle to keep the cabin rattle free.

This is a must have for you turbo and supercharged cars while great results will be seen in the N/A cars with bolt on modifications to stock platforms. This will eliminate the dreaded tire hope that is commonly found in the tC platform.

We said that we where not going to do a pre-order after the turbo kits but we found ourselves in a position where we need to. We had to order an initial 1000 mounts to have these made to our design. So to make sure that we are not stuck with all of these at time of arrival we will make some pre-order pricing to help take some of the excessive inventory right off the bat.

We are promised delivery January 15th so we are going to promise delivery to you February 15th as we see no reason as to why there will be any delay but nothing exceeding 30 days. All of these will ship together no batches as we will take delivery on them at one time.

We will offer these at a pre-order price of $95 and a retail price of $165.00

I wanted to do this but is this possible to do with our engine mounts while they are still mounted? If we can do it this way, I would see no point to take them off.

    Anyone?

I dont see why you cant. It would be hard to keep the stuff in there while it is drying though. And it would also be hard to clean the mounts really well. The lower ones anyways.

People got tired of waiting for them. They never went out, or so I have read in Scion Life.
