    I don-t know why they killed the car in the first place... MKIV Supras look SWEET, even by today-s standards. If they bring them back, it-ll be awesome. If they price them right around $28K, that-ll be even better... the RX-8 and 350Z will be hurtin pretty bad.

    this pix has been out for a while now...still a rumor why did they kill the supra? simply it-s all in the money! They over-designed the car which cost them a lot of money and they were not selling enough to even break even the cost of development and manufactory. Supra TT design continue to dominate the street racing scene. Oh and one more point, Supra opening to the market @ a very bad time when SUV was really HOT and small compact sport car was just not in the shopping list.

    You try checking Mazda-s website?BTW sweet car indead, originally I wanted to get a 95- Supra but just out of my price range still arg. Talk about a car that holds value!

    3 yr 36As for the Supra, it was said that it will be introduced as a Lexus and hold a different name...obviously its still early

    the closest design resembling the MKIV supra is the new 2005 Lexus coupe. It going to come with 3.0L 2JZ GE engine and upgrade 4.3L V8 engine. it-s going to get the Lexus batch. My guess is that Lexus is not going to stand by to see all these aftermarket sweep up the cash for performance upgrade so like the Scion, they-re going to offer serious street TRD performance for these new sport coupe. my two cents

    I don-t know if you-ve heard scion cool (most of those websites beign posted are HIGHLY outdated)But the 2jz powerplant is being RETIRED, its payed its part, and LExus is now looking into 3.3L power plants... so expect a new inline engine with new literage and new potential.As you can tell, the 300 series of lexus is slowly deterioirating.NO more gs300, gs330 is being introduced.No more es300, es330 is being introducedrx300 is being faded out, the rx330 is put in its place..the 300 series is being slowly, but surely retired out of the picture...wouldn-t suprise me if the new supra got an all aluminum v8, instead of a turbocharged 6, and be called the new LEXUS SS430. (ls = luxury sedan, sc = sports car , ss = super sport) hehe, just a thought.

    btw, the lexus LFC , concept, is supposedly the is300-s replacement, noto the supras rebirth. Thats a qoute straight from import tuner, turbo, motor trend, and car and driver TV.

    i think if toyota wanted to bring teh supra back... i dun think theyd badge it as a toyota.. cause that wouls ruin their bragging rights for the most miles per gallon bullshit...itd be a balsy move but the supra under the lexus tag would work.. cause if they brought it back itd prob be as expensive as one......kinda what nissan is doin with the 2007 GTR.. its an infiniti

    Found this link (yes it has pictures)of the new super car from Toyota, not sure if its going to be a toyota or lexus.. but 500 hp is probably coming from a V-10 going to be unveiled at the tokyo motor show..here-s the link http://www.thecarconnection.com/index.asp?article=7633
