nj ezpass is a steal

    so im driving down nj when all of a sudden outta no where the left lane is closed and that lane leads to the gwb the 1 i need since im not to good with nj i have 2 find a alternate route my indash send me toward the lincon tunnel with was like 20 min longer ride but hey oh well im in my tc having fun no cops around when i come 2 a stop to pay for the tolls im reading witch 1 says cash but none of them bull s&yt say it all they said was ezpass only nd the only one that said cash was closed with a x so i go to on that say epazz but not ezpass only nd when im there bawm a recived the didnt pay sign i am pissed it was only 1.80 cents and now i hope i dnt get fined its not my fault there wasnt a cash lane just my luck any adviced maybe that toll both wasnt inservice i was like the only car there besides a bus that had ezpass

    any 1 know how much that fine is idk if it was mta toll or port athourity any chance i can win that ticket if i get 1

    itll more than likely be the most expensive toll

    on the NJ Turnpike like $40 maybe ?

    dawm lol it said the toll was 1.80 idk exactly where i was the problem was there was no cash lanes i think i might win lol not every 1 has ezpas

    i drove down to NJ and NY for some nissan meet last summer.. and god did i not like what i was driving in.. exspecially with jackasses leading the group

    maybe one day i'll visit yall down there

    this just happened to me the other nite i was driving down the palisades to head over the the gw and i didnt know the cash booth was closed and rolled thru and got the same thing so my father tells me the fine is like $25. im still waiting for that letter haha

    I like how in Texas well austin really they have this now, its not the same name but if you dont have it thats the only option on some highways they just mail you a letter for 2.00$ (the price of the toll) and thats how you pay it. Now if there is a cash option or the pass its still the same.

    When I lived in NJ and still had my PA plates on my car, I ran the EZ Pass tolls a few times and never got a ticket for it. After I changed my plates over to NJ and ran an EZ Pass toll, then I got the ticket in the mail. It was $25.00 plus the toll itself.

    But, maybe you won't get the ticket because you have out of state plates. The only reason I can think of as to why I didn't get tickets was because I had a PA plate on my car (ran EZ Pass two times with the PA plate).

    I don't know about NJ but in Florida I did that on their Sunpass or whatever gay name they call it and I pulled over and the toll lady said I just write a check for the amount of the toll, I never got a fine and I had out of state tags. If you're really concerned...just call the NJ Turnpike people and they can probably help you out.
