tC vs SRT-4

    This was posted on the srt forums. You will notice the camera is in the tC. The tC is supposedly running a 125 shot of juice...no other mods to the tC are known, but the srt-4 does have a few bolt-ons. IMO, I think she flexed her muscles pretty well Race Here

    lol 125 shot......Well, it-s like they say, -there-s no replacement for.......forced induction?- lol....someone send that to TRD and tell them we-re not happy hehe, someone go turbo already so at least one tC can dust one of those damned boosted econoboxes

    The guy in the srt said the tC blew his manifold..haha that sucks. I never looked but does the tC have a plastic manilfold?

    Why does the plastic manifold matter for the 125 shot? All of you who have seen The Fast and the Furious may not know this but -NAWZ- *both bad actors dive for cover* isn-t explosive or anything.....it just gets more Oxygen in the cylinders. I guess I-m not understanding how the NO2 would make the maifold blow.......engine internals maybe....

    What are you sorry for? I hate my Neon ... and I completely agree, the SRT4, while fast, is ugly as piss.

    LoL good point TRD, I knew that, emphasis on the past tense there..I bet I-ve been making that mistake for a while. Nitrous Oxide would be two nitrogens and one oxygen........if I remember my chemistry nomenclature correctly.

    First off, the tC was not running a 125 shot. Seriously now. If he was which he wasn-t, but for the sake of saying he did, he would have killed the srt4 with BBo-s. If you watch the video you can notice he pulls for like 6 seconds. Ummmm yea BS.I race my friends Srt4 all the time just fucking around and I can pull him Low end until he hits boost :mrgreen: If that kid was even running Nitrous it was probably a 55 shot.

    if he was running 125 shot of n2o it would have been raining pistons. im not sure how much n2o a stock engine coulc hold on a tC but i know for a fact it wasnt 125 shot.

    I doubt he was running a 125 shot, however it could be and he leaned out and the car just couldnt take it, thus why it got stomped after the first 4 or so seconds(just a random thought). My roommates Mustang runs 11.60s all motor and when he put on a 125 shot he ran 13 something because of the leaning out issue. I know some guys in Lousiville Streets which is where the video is from, Ill see if they know about it at all. The nitrous question/comment, very very true it is not explosive like movies show. In very non scientific terms: N2O is fired in, atoms split(N becomes pointless), viola more O, bigger explosion(in the engine not the car, lol), more power. If the tC did have any damage it would have been something to the effect of frying rings or damaging pistons, etc. The manifold could possibly have some damage due to excess heat but again other stuff would happen first and probably would be the mian cause and the expensive broken part wrth mentioning. On a side note: if that was a heavily modded (or even if not) SRT4 and he was really racing then damn that turbo is slow to spool up. Seriously they already rolling, lol.

    i wouldn't 125shout that way more then the tc can handle I use 65shot of Nitrous

    i cant see the damn vi. i ran against my friends srt4 from a light and they are faster
