of course its not a drift unless he changed his car to RWD.. He could of done a better job on the turn but at least he was able to correct himself before ending up on the sidewalk...

haha. The word "Drift" should be omitted from this thread.

Just looked like an in-experienced driver taking a corner badly in a FWD car

And if someone would actually call that a drift. He held the "drift" for like .000001 seconds.

um.. it IS possible to drift in a FWD car. THAT tc is NOT drifting (becaue he is off the throttle or braking during the slide-allowing the cars momentum to do the work) It is a nice powerslide though. I'd call it more of a fishtail or tail whip. But it is possible, though much more difficult and requiring much more suspension/chassis tuning than in a FR car.

Also, FWD drifts will not last as long and are generally less dramatic and entertaining than Rwd. Much harder to control a drift

A drift is simply a controlled sideways slide performed by generating momentum in one direction and then cutting the wheel back the opposite way at WOT to counteract the momentum of the slide by throwing down some rubber with the drive wheels. There is nothing that specifies it has to be done with a RWD car.
