Trunk = Truck.....as he pulls out of the garage and straightens out, watch his truck.....The cam lobe actually pulls the truck forward each cycle a bit. He's not giving it gas.
haha....I used "lobe" as a verb....hahahaha.......sorry
Had an old Malibu like that come into the Autozone parking lot a few years ago. it was fun watching him sit at the road waiting for cars to pass....his car kept wanting to creep forward on it's own.
sorry, i couldn't see what you're talking about. and how do u you know that what you are referring to is caused by the cam? did they just swap out cams or something? maybe i'd be able to tell if i had audio. to me, it just looks like a truck pulling out of the garage and doing a burnout.
just after he pulls out of the garage, and he turns right (prior to the burn out), his truck is moving forward a little bit at a time.....with audio you can hear that it's the cam making the engine turn like that. I've seen it in a few cars and it's amazing to watch. The lobe of the cam is so high that it actually opens the valves a bit in the cylinder and makes the combustion series of the engine occur. The truck begins to "hop" forward ever so slightly on it's own.
It's a fully built and blown S-10 with what looks like a 350 (common swap).
haha, the same thing happens in my bel-air, everytime my cam resurfaces meaning does it's part of the revolution because i think it's more than one cycle to officially be a revolution, it moves forward, and because i still have drum breaks boy is it scary...i know i know i should of switched to disk a long time ago, but i just stopped investing after a while, and now that i'm getting married, it's gonna be a while...i think it was like a b-series cam that i had, wasn't too bad, but now i have an e-series, and boy does it move...not really much i can do but hold the brake pedal as hard as i want...
