So I got a Tsudo axleback and put it on a few days ago, but I'm having the familiar problem of the tip rubbing on the bumper, and its melting the crap out of it. I've read around some threads saying to put something in between the hanger, and so I put 2 9/16 nuts in there, but it didn't make anymore clearance. I know I can get new hangers from Autozone, but I'm really just trying to fix this DIY style. I can take pictures of it a little later, but I wanted to know what you guys have done to fix it. Thanks

Put a couple plastic bottle caps in the rubber hanger

A scrap piece of rubber from an old exhaust hanger wedged in the new exhaust hanger will work as well. This is what I did to keep my exhaust tip on my Concept G away from my RS1 Lip.

My rear most hanger is a bit short and I've heard the exhaust start to tap the bumper. I'm just going to get a zip tie and squeeze the center of the hanger to extend it another 1/2" .

I may need to get the urethane hangers from whiteline racing though for the rest of the exhaust. Getting a little knocking on struggled accelerations from releasing the clutch a little early, so the exhaust clunks against the framing somewhere. I'll throw it on a lift once I do the radiator replacement and take care of it though. Pictures of that will come when I finish it up.

    1) I'd go with a polyurethane hanger: 15mm - bought mine from these guys to fix my mid-pipe hitting front axle. I had to get the 12mm for my situation, but you would need the 15mm for your problem.

    2) I'm not sure if these actually serve a purpose other than looks, but you may consider this:

Thanks for the help guys. I managed to get 'er done by taking a few 9/16 nuts and taping them together with electrical tape, then I shoved them in the hanger. Its a shame that the damage to my bumper has already been done
