I've only really seen these on boosted tCs, never on a motor with just bolt-ons though.

You'll get 10-15whp from it.... A few ppl on SL have this on n/a tC's.

Well the site promises easy installation...I would recommend taking the Unichip out of your car before you go to the dealership so something like that wouldn't happen. The chip is a piggy back to the cars stock ecu so if you were to take it out, you wouldnt have to get your stock ecu reflashed because a piggyback system just overides your ecu, changing your your air fuel ratio to either low or high volumes.

Just a heads up.... It's the same price on unichip's website but they are running a 10% off coupon code special. It's on their home page. Even after shipping it's still about $30 cheaper than TRD sparks

u will NOT get 15 whp on a NA setup with a piggy back system. maybe if u had a ported head and intake manifold.

I'd be ok even if it only added 10 HP, honestly... As others have said, 10 HP for $450 plus shipping!!!! That's incredible! Exhaust systems coupled with intakes that cost WELL OVER $450 (upwards of $700) only yield about a 5-10 HP gain if lucky.

depends on what ur current mods are.. if u have i/h/e and pulleys u will prob get a 5whp gain lol and its not 400shipped.. u have to get it TUNED which will cost 300+ dollars.

There are a few dyno results showing between 10 and 15 hp from just a cat back exhaust, now whether or not they have modified the sheet,im not sure, but a few folks on SL said they had it.
BTW def not $300+ to tune.. hah if that were the case that might as well call themselves Greddy
    • Nov 11, 2009 12:44:37 pm
seriously, there is no magic chip. Just man up and buy a motorcycle!!!!
    • Nov 12, 2009 1:41:32 am
It sounds tempting, but at the same time a lot more hassle than it's probably worth. It's almost too good to be true. $400 for 10+ hp? I dunno.
    • Nov 12, 2009 2:30:16 am
WHERE is everyone coming up with this $400 figure. I clearly said $450 plus shipping. And it comes pre-tuned. Sure you can still get an more accurate tune if you take it to a unichip tuner, but not neccessary, and definitely not an addition $300
