Okay, I've had the Injen CAI on my car for 20,000 miles and one of the clips holding the intake steady has snapped.. I may have been a little hard on the throttle...

I took a closer look at the clip and was expecting for it to be metal and it's freaking plastic.

So I'm going to have to come up with a way to get that piece rejoined.

Now I have a reason to buy an engine damper.... The intake does move around a lot in the engine bay and it wore that clip.

I'll have to come up with a pic. It's too dark right now and I'm lazy.

That's a fancy thing to call it... I think it was located near the turbo incabulator holding the phasotronic capsular. I'd better realign my fluxors.

Yeah, it's L shaped, but mine is plastic.

that sucks, should be easy to make out though, a notch in and a hole in some sheet metal, bend, BAM! stabilizer bracket

Good time to look into Doc Iso's intake fender panel, i think its whole purpouse is to stop the second pipe from rattling around...

wow that was more intense than that one time I forgot how to sit down...

Maybe you over-tightened the bolt connecting the intake to the vibra mount? I didn't tighten mine too much since that thing is supposed to be soft to absorb all the vibrations from the engine

Injen my #1 CAI panel seller by a better than 2 to 1 margin. Those big pipes like to snap brackets.

Yea, it's really tempting. But he has so many products that I want: the air-diversion panel, shift knobs, shift collar, valve cover, CAI panel. It's like Doc read my mind and made these parts for ridiculously low prices

Why? Disconnect the rubber couple at the MAF sensor and slide it over the bottom pipe that is still mounted.

Lol, someone should make a video on how to move the CAI pipe through the fender so we can just copy his movements

Lol, make sure to practice before you make the vid. I don't wanna watch an hour long video of you trying to wiggle the pipe in with you cursing at your car the whole time.
