i saw a Lancer with an Evo wing on it today! lol...

Scion tc: Its essentially a 2 door Camry that spins up the tires quicker.....

 I've seen one like that too............only thing is, he had a turbo in it............it was a stock lancer body with the Evo wing and FMIC....nice size turbo in the engine bay too.....I pulled into the lot he was at.


Mazda 626 today slammed (or cut...probably cut springs), relocated muffler with a straight pipe....haha............came up on my a** and tailed me.........tried to out run me but I caught back up and passed him .

 omg, that reminds me, i musthave seen about 4 base celica's with "GTS" badges on the rear today too!

on a side note; i've always liked mazda 626/millenia's. i'd LOVE to find an old manual tranny one, and drop a 13b rotary turbo in it!!! then hook it up with nice suspension and body kit and rims. i think it would be sick.

 2 years ago, since we're on the Celica topic, saw a blue "GTR/GTS" Celica in Annapolis, MD. Very unique....must be a special model.

 Over the weekend I saw a 97 or 98 Dodge Intrepid with some ugly 18s orange flames painted on both sides and a huge spoiler. I had a great laugh.

 Not really ricey b/c it seemed ok, but an 01ish Corolla with tC stock 17s. Actually was ok.

Ford Aspire with dangling exhaust and hood cutout for intake in Baltimore.....every time he hit a bump the muffler just bounced against the car and the road...haha

Riding to work today, I came up next to a 98ish EX with a body kit, lowered, rims, M3 mirrors.. and ....oh yes..........DUAL Greddy Pipes.......must have a 350 or something in that thing!

I come accross ricy cars everyday.

I find the most when I go to the flea market on Sunday. Most of them are posers and think they have an extra 25whp because they have fake carbon fiber hood vents...WTF?!

I asked one of them to open their hood and they were proud to say they've done nothing to the engine, but they have vinyls.

 hmmmm....Web, i don't think that civic is TOO bad.... lol.. side skirts are kinda ricy though. and rims a little blingy. but otherwise, its not too bad. other than the fact that its a honda.


i pass by this parked ricy mobile on the way to work.

its a white Nissan SER (vspec?) with a body kit, carbon fiber hood and the kicker... HUGE ugly ass bolt on universal GT type wing!! No!!! the car would be nice if not for that huge ugly wing!!!

where do people get the idea to actually put them on their cars? FnF or Gran Turismo?

those wings are SO ugly.

eh, being parked next to my buddy's cobalt, I've looked at side views trying to crop the wing on my car visually but ....it's just too big and seems out of place.

x2. was driving next to one yesterday on the hiway.

on one hand, i like it, because its really the only thing that differentiates the car from the base cobalt...

on the other hand, it is definitely big, obtrusive, and a bit ricy (how, starting from the base, it widens out then comes back in. can't describe, but looks a bit too fancy/mechanical)

 My buddy said it gets in the way a lot but helps at night against light from cars behind you. Also, it moves a lot b/c it's fiberglass.....it bounces/vibrates.

 they look ok on Evos and STIs but FWD just shouldn't have them IMO.
