Hey Sorry for such a repetitive post, Is there any easier way to change the LED's if I do not know how to solder. For the Gauge's.

No, they must be soldered....they are surface mount LEDs, not plug ins.

Wow, those prices seem reasonable. So what exactly do you send em? I dont think UPS would be too happy if I tell I want ship my car.

you have to remove your gauge cluster and the HVAC thingy(where your AC knob is) and ship it to them and try not to drive your car...

Try not to drive your car… Your RPM will be off and you will have lots of backfire and flames if you’re modified. CEL Speedo check is off when you remove your gauges.

If you want stuff done right, SquallLheart is the guy. I always try to send people to him b/c I've seen his work on numerous vehicles on SL. I had a few email convos with him when I did mine and he helped me out.
If you really don't want to get your hands dirty or think you'll break something, send it to him.

K, I'll have to see when I get the money, I don't know that I feel secure just sending my speedometer to some random guy, for all I know he could just send me some other speedometer he has laying around. Thanks for the input guys.

i have worked hard to build a large trust amongst the scion community and at least online.. i'm very well known.
the speedometer itself has flash memory that stores your odometer reading. you'll know if it's not yours by simply looking at that.
also... without the gauges in the car... the vehicle won't accumulate any miles.. (since it's all done on the gauge cluster itself).. which in turn can lead to legal implications.
it is very recommended not to drive the vehicle without your gauges in.
if and when you decide on sending your items out, you will need to make prearrangements to have another mode of transportation... otherwise, doing them yourself or having someone local that you can trust are the only other options.
as far as soldering, there are a vast amount of resources available online... if you have any trouble or further questions... don't hesistate to ask.

Would purple LEDs be bright as other colors like blue or red? I was thinkin of going with purple LEDs in my gauge cluster that or white with a red needle

they do not produce purple leds... but they have UV... highly reccommend NOT using those though.
if you want purple gauges.. best to do a white led swap and use a gel/filter/cellophane/vinyl/ or acetate to produce the purple color.
