I know its ridiculous, but we should sticky something like this.

But in response to the question: It will, but you may have to sand the holes in the ss for securing the shift cables.

ok guys, it seems like everyone that owns the k2motor ss loves it. i would love to get it, it's just that i will have to remove the whole thing (which i don't really want to do, due to my car being BRAND NEW). So i might go with TWM Performance. Any other suggestions? Thanks.

Seeing as you dont wanna mess things up, I recommend getting the k2motors ss even more! trying to remove the stock lever off the assembly will be a major pain in the ass and you'll have a higher chance of breaking something that way rather than dropping in the k2motors with its own assembly.. not only does it make it way easier but if you ever decide to go to stock then you can just swap back to stock relatively easily! I'm sorry folks but k2motors really is the best ss to get

Or, now that you know to trim them down, installing another one in a buddy's tC will be easy ....took me 20 minutes on my friend's.

Web posted this in another section:

http://www.trdsparks.com/install/00602-30301-140inst.pdf

In step three of section III, you have to re-secure the shift cables to the shift console. Now if you look at the front of your ss, you'll see if has 2 "holes" to drop the shift cables in to. This "hole is a little small, so you have to file the sides to widen it. But after you do that it slides in like butter.

Haha, I spent a while trying to fir it in without filing it. After a long while a badley scraped hands it finally dawned on me that hole needs to be widened.

^it could be the way you're sitting. adjusting your seat can help you with your mis-shifting problem

yeah like a small 5 inch long 1 by 2 piece of wood wraped in sand paper.

Or like i did, used a 10 inch long metal "wood" file, the ones that are half round half flat! perfect and fast!(but you have to file and check ,file and check so you don't over widen them)

wow that was more intense than that one time I forgot how to sit down...

That could be it, try raising the seat a little.

Yea, try moving your seat up abit closer so that you can comfortable depress the clutch all the way down without stretching your leg out. it worked for me
