Hey guys, i'm curious.. Are you guys really satisfied with your K2 or is it not doing the job for u. I really don't want a hassle with my ss install so I was gonna go for the K2 cause it's got the full assembly and it's a bit shorter than TRD and has a bit more throw. However, I dunno if it satisfies the look that I'm looking for; I just don't know if 1/2 an inch is enough. Also do any of you guys have info on whether the greddy weighted shift knob works well with the K2? Thanks guys.

wtf? have you not been reading what me and web keep saying about the k2 ss? I think k2 is the best ss to get right now.. not only does it come with its own assembly BUT it also comes with steel shifter base bushings! the lever height is actually reduced by about 1 and a half inches yet the throw's been reduced by 45 percent! it's very comfortable to shift and the shifts are short and precise! I have not mis-shifted at all since I've installed it. I've been meaning to take my car out to the track to see how much it's improved my time but the weather's been really crappy lately with all this rain and volcanic ash >=[ oh, in the beginning it takes abit more effort to shift gears but after a day or 2 it becomes normal.. a weighted knob would definitely help with faster shifting Are you still reading this? wtf?! GO BUY IT NOW!!

^^haha, as my enthusastic friend above stated.....yes, I'm really happy with mine.

I have had no problems finding the gears and the position of the shifter is very comfortable. It's not a huge drop and still keeps your fingers close to the HVAC and radio buttons . Smooth shifting and very positive feel from day 1 and during racing, it's definately noticeable against a stock shifter.

Complaining is futile when you supported the victory.
