Some people will opt out of a relay because it's easier to hook up without one, but it's a little bit of extra work for some peace of mind.

I'd rather have the direct power coming straight from the battery and relieve my stock circuits the extra rush of power when turning on.

ok so i got the relay harness and the PnP set up comin. So when i hook them up i should use the relay to relieve my stock wiring of the pressure?

Not really "pressure" when talking about electrical but basically yes. It takes the electrical load off the stock harness and powers the HIDs directly from the battery rather than running through the factory headlight switch. The relay will blow on the harness before harming the battery and frying the wiring harness mounted to the stock connector which acts as the switch.

Complaining is futile when you supported the victory.
