It's a cheap mod that will be safer for running as daytime lights... so buy some HID's.

4300K are the ones I'd like. In the video, how come it looks like headlights change from halogen to HIDs?

it went from parking lights (normal bulbs) then when he switched them on, you saw a pulse.. that was the HID

i just got these new headlights from Luminics. They're kinda not as bright as the stock ones. Is it supposed to be that way and are these HIDs?

No, they "should" be brighter than stock but if you got blue lights, the actual light output will be less than stock....just colored differently. Blue light frequency absorbs into objects much easier than white or yellow.
No, those are not HIDs. Those are "HID simulating" lights....but most do a very poor job b/c they are no where close to HID intensity. Plus, they rely on higher wattage to create the extra brightness, which is something you want to be careful of with stock wiring b/c it can melt.

Take those bulbs off ASAP!!! My luminics bulbs just burned out my harness after a year of use. Get HIDs and sell those Luminics before it's too late. Learn from my mistakes
