 I think there was already a thread on here for this but I was wondering if anyone has an LCD screen for their head unit and has pics of it? And if you can tell me how much you paid???

I'm really looking to change out my headunit and put in a lcd screen. And I was wondering if the cover still closes if you install the screen in, or do you have to completely take the cover out? cus i like the cover...-_-

 I don't have one but from what i'v heard "some" of the lcd units will fit with the cover in the open position but you won't be able to close it, other units fit fine and allow the cover to close like stock.
I know the Eclipse brand units do as well as the pioneers, i also hear they accept arms and legs as well as credit cards lol

wow that was more intense than that one time I forgot how to sit down...

 got the kenwood ddx 8017 last march. love it, though got it when it was new on the market so i still dont have enough left to get the nav unit :-(

 The Alpine 6.5 inch in dash Is pretty nice but the sound controls suck. Really in dash you put in can fit with the cover but you may have to do a littli more work. But yes Any in Dash can Close. The 7in Clarion with the 30gig Hard Drive built in is pretty nice. Does just about everything, But is out of my price Range. Im getting the Pioneer AVIC-D3 Nice as hell. Navigation/Plays all DVD's also Cd's, Aux port in front. smaller screen 6.1 but who cares it has NAVI!!! lol

 panasonic indash. retails for 1000ish but you can get it at buydig.com for 540ish shipped. i got the ipod adapter with it as well. as with basically all indash TVs youll have to drill new holes in the mounting brackets to have the tv sit a few CM in more so the door will close

 there is a pic of my t.v on my car kinda far away but i have the model down from his ^^ i have the kenwood DDX7017 model. i liek it alot. paid 875 online. got it a year and a half ago though so...
