Rusting inside the wheel

 The part inside the wheel (where the brakes are) has started to rust on my car. It looks terrible. Any tips on taking care of that?

 that's normal after you wash it or something...it'll go away after a bit of driving

 Alright, thanks. Think it was caused by snow or salt? We just got a couple inches of snow/ice here in MD and this is the first time I've seen the rust.

 Untreated metal (mainly a steal material) will oxidize like that. As stated above, just drive and apply brakes slowly 2-3 times for about 20 feet. They'll be silver again
