breakout831 Reg'd: Mar 11, 2008 Tech Advisor	operatic..quick question. I went with the 35 watt balasts and I'm noticing it takes a bit of time for the HID's to fully illuminate. Would 50 watt balasts shorten this time?

operatic Reg'd: Feb 13, 2007 Scion Guru	Na, that is just the HIDs warming up. The only thing the 50w ballast would do is give your brighter light output.

If you add a 50w ballast, it'll be the brightest too, but as a note of warning, 50w ballast drop the kevlin rating about 1000k, so that 4300k would look like a crazy bright halogen bulb.

Some moron stopped in the middle of a highway... created a swerve party... Someone swerved into my driver's right side. I saw my headlight disintegrate in adrenaline-induced slow motion... So... Operatic... is there a way to get what I need...? Which I'm going to assume... is another 50w ballast, 6000k bulb, and probably a new relay... sigh...
