That happens to me too, at start up one of the lights is always a different color and not as bright. They sent me new ballast and bulbs and the problem persists.

Yea they still work like a charm buddy! Just one question, is it normal if one of the bulbs flickers after start-up? It doesn't flicker right away, the driver side will flicker for a second but it isnt even that noticeable :o

Yup, mine flicker for a second after start up. It's fine.

During start up, the lights starting off dim and getting brighter is normal. Also the color does shift during the warm up period. But after 10-15 seconds it will be at its normal operating light output / color.

Typically, how long does it take for shipping.

As long as its in stock (we do run out of kevlin colors at time, but usually only for 1-2 business days as we constantly have kits coming in. Also Custom Colors take 9-13 business days) takes about 1 business day. You order before 5pm central time on a Monday, you'll see it Tuesday afternoon. Also, at times UPS does mess up or weather conditions around the US may also effect shipping times. If you PM me your first and last name I can check up on your order to see whats up.

There is no real legal color, aftermarket HIDs are illegal in general. But you can help avoid getting a ticket by using colors that aren't to crazy. Usually 4300k-6000k is safe and 8000k-12000k gets a little riskier depending on where you are. They might, but since they are factory and have been DOT approved they can't really do much. As for the HIDs being a distraction for oncoming drivers, even factory HIDs are sometimes distracting. I find the new Nissan Altima HIDs to be, or maybe the one guy that has one around here has adjusted them by accident and it is just pointed in an awkward angle.

tru. i guess if a cop really wanted they can pull ya over for little things like that. i really do not get why they need to pull people over with exhausts. a loud exhaust is gonna kill someone? stop harassing us and look for people on the road that are speeding, and doing other much more dangerous activities than having a loud exhaust. cops really are lazy pigs. never there when ya need em, always there when ya dont.

I guess it all depends on how the cop is feeling that day. But it kind of comes with the territory of modding, getting pulled over.

Glad to say that I've gone 1 full year on my HIDs from Operatic and ZERO issues. I have 5000K low beams and I have recently purchased 5000K high beams (about 3-4 months ago). Obviously my high beams will pretty much last forever since I rarely use them, but, for as much driving as I've done on these lights, I am very impressed that they have given me no issues.

Bump for an excellent Christmas present for the tuner at heart. Bump for Operatic.

You would just need to change the bulb if you wanted to change up the colors.

Does anybody know what a 98 Jeep Cherokee needs. Size of bulb/ and are they single or Bi-?

The factory 1998 Jeep Cherokee uses a sealed headlight housing. So you would first need to purchase some aftermarket headlamps that would allow you to use replaceable halogen bulbs like below.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaym...ZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Then you would just need an HID kit in H4 in single or bi-xenon. Bi-xenon if you wanted to retain your high beams.
