Thanks. Now I gotta get my buddy with the FX2 to get those 12000K and we'll be set. He's gotta sell some rims and an intake first but hopefully that will be done soon.

k, I switched the bulbs around and they both work gloriously with the good ballast. I tried checking the "bad" ballast and it won't work with either one. -shoots self in the head-

Good god.. So I'd have to wait 2+ more weeks again? Argh!! Is it possible to send it any sooner than that? But yea, it's all good I guess. I'll be sending the ballast along with the bulbs too.

that seems like a pretty reasonable request.. it's not like Vicious is going anywhere any time soon.. then when he receives the ballast he can mail the old ones back to you and post to all of us how great your service was.

= more sales

As a company, we send out replacement parts even before we recieve the broken part. I cannot think of any other company that would do that. Besides, I'm talking to him privately to see what we can work out

Bump x2. I understand the predicament I'm putting operatic in so I'm doing my best to make it as easy for him as possible.

Web mounted his ballasts right behind the metal front bumper support.

Sorry for not being clear. I meant to ask how web mounted the ballasts onto that area, as in what he used, because I did not see any existing holes there.

It appears he just used some Zip Ties and mounted it to the metal re-bar behind the front bumper.

Zip Ties work rather well. It is like the Duct Tape of the automotive world.

So I installed the set yesterday but something is wrong. Mind you I am new to head light tweaking. These are the headlights I have them installed in:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaym...QQitemZ290138084915QQrdZ1

Basically they shine really bright up to 5 feet ahead of the car and anything further isn't bright. Also when I drive none of the street signs light up which leads me to beleive they shine REALLY low.

I tried playing with the adjustment screws on the housing, but it didn't seem to raise the beam at all, just move it left and right. I tried both screws. Does anyone have any experience with installing HIDs on this specific housing? Also, assuming my car is on a level surface, what are the proper distances & heights that I should adjust to?
