i had mine right behind the radiator next to the engine and it was getting way to hot so now its tucked to the side above the wheel next to the windshield washer tube with zip ties and industrial strength velcro. |

Just installed them tonight and dang are they sweet. Thanks for the hook up operatic. I might take some pictures. Also I ran the wire across between the header and the radiator, its zip tied to another wire that runs along there... that should be fine right? |

Sorry for jumping in Operatic... Yeah, that should be fine as long as it's away from the header. DO NOT let it touch the header. I ran mine in front of the radiator through little slots between the radiator framing and the headlights. But, as long as you keep it well held away from the heat source (header), you should be good to go ![]() I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones. I think on the first page he said it comes with a wiring harness. ![]() "I have an idea! An idea so smart, my head would explode if I even began to know what I was talking about." - Peter Griffin -- Want to post a "For Sale" thread? Check out the rules first. |

so this kit comes with an external FUSE and a RELAY right? cuz i've read about the plub-and-play Wiring Harness, is it true that it has possiblities to fry the stock headlight switch? .....and can anyone tell me if i install the HID kits, what happens to the OEM wiring harness? |

the kit comes with a relay, so you will not put any stress on the headlight switch. The OEM headlight harness does not need to be replaced. It's a plug and play kit that's safe to use |

thank you Mr. Orin. but isn't a FUSE important too? |

a fuse is playing it extra safe, but it's not needed. |

If you factory harness burned out, hit up AutoZone and ask for a 9006 plug, they sell for about $2-3 and come with pig tails. As for having to use your stock harness, you would have to - to plug in one connection from our harness (that plugs into your factory connection), but you could plug everything in on your passenger side.
There is a possiblitiy to fry your factory connection only if you don't use our harness. As the initial start up of an HID bulb takes 85watts unlike a halogen bulb which only takes 35watts. The only thing your factory connection / wiring does is act as a gate to turn on the HIDs. |
