The most time you spend on this kit is figuring out where you want to put the ballast and wires. After that, it goes in in no time.

yeah i hear ya on that...i put the driver side right next to the fuse box and the passenger side attached to the bolt that holds the radiator up. Its not in front of the radiator but behind it. Both are also tied up with the zip ties....is there any risk of the ballast over heating because mine is right next to the radiator as stated.

It's probably best to move it away from the radiator if you feel it's too close. I'd tuck it behind the brake actuator or the neck of the windshield washer tank.

Did the hotspot move or is it still in the same place. After the adjusting of the level of the light, the best you can do is get aftermarket projectors. At that point you'll need a different bulb but you will have an extreamly clean cut off line.

is a hotspot like a small area of really intense concentrated light?

its still there, i mean maybe i shouldnt really call it a "hotspot" its more of a general area of light i guess outside of the normal pattern....when im driving the light goes way up into the trees but off to the side, not right in front of me.

A hotspot is the concentrated part of the light. It should be the center of the light, but in a reflective housing, it may not be.

Okay, there really isn't much you can do about that besides lower your headlamps. HIDs were never ment for reflective housings. Which factory tC housings are. Since it is on the passenger side, which is normal as the passenger side will be higher from the factory. Also, on the bright side it’ll be easier to see street signs / highway signs at night. I would see it as more of a concern if it were on the driver side where oncoming traffic would be more effected.

Yeah, the passenger side of cars is angled up and off to the right a good bit stock. That's why when you see pictures of light patterns, if you look at the righ side, it extends a lot further.

With the right side up a bit, you shouldn't get flashed unless you live in England or any other backwards country.........haha

For the price I like my K2s but I think the VRDs would give that cleaner look but cost almost twice as much. I’m not a fan of those little projector fog lights.

Alright.. Now that my money issue is solved, I'll finally be ordering a set in 2 weeks or so. But I'm torn between 12000k or the 4300k with the custom bulbs. I love the ultra-violet hue the 12k gives but I also like how bright the 4300k with the custom bulbs are. Do you have an ultra-violet bulb for the 4300k?
