THE SHADOW

He sends them out a few hours after processing I believe. No worries though............next day delivery for standard HID kits

THE SHADOW

It'll only take about 20 minutes really. They are sooooooooooo easy to install. I did Supafly's HIDs yesterday in about 20-30 minutes. First time, it might take longer, but this is the 4th set I've installed and time just keeps going down the more installs I do . Enjoy these HIGH QUALITY kits!

do you have to mount the ballast where it wont get wet?

the balasts and wires are fairly well sealed. You don't want them getting soaked, so I wouldnt suggest placing them on your radiator or something like that.

I mounted one on each side. One is stuck to the wall next to the fuse box with 3m double sided tape. The other is attached to wires and pipes with zip ties near the stem of the window washer fluid tank.

THE SHADOW

^I've had mine mounted right behind the metal bumper support since December. We had a horrible winter here and lots of rain these past few weeks. My HIDs have never been hindered in performance due to precipitation.

LOL im so glad this rain issue came up cuz i was thinking about askin the same question ...

web i did wat you did and i showed a friend of mine and he said i should've covered the ballast with a balloon or something to prevent rain from hitting it. I guess I shouldn't worry huh?

Tell your friend that the balloon will trap heat and cause the ballast to become damaged internally. It needs to breathe and plus.........HID kits are supposed to be water proof and also work under water anyways. These kits are quality.

*I am not saying that these kits are MEANT for underwater use, but they should be able to withstand water spray and some soaking.

Here's a vid of another kit being submerged completely and no issues:

Don't do the ballon thing. Also, our ballast are water proof, but like WEB said, its not like you want to go scuba diving with your kit. Not like you want your car to be in deep water anyways =)

The most time you spend on this kit is figuring out where you want to put the ballast and wires. After that, it goes in in no time.

hahaha, agreed. It took me about 10 minute to figure out where to mount Supafly's passenger side ballast and 2 seconds to hook it up.
