I know some people do that so there is nothing new inside the engine bay. But if you want, there are a few spots in the engine bay that you can mount the ballast with the provided mounting hardware. You don't have to drill any holes, there are a few unused factory holes here and there. Once you get the kit and look inside the engine bay, you'll better understand.

Web Reg'd: Apr 17, 2006 THE SHADOW	Extremely easy.... -Connect to + end of batter -bolt ground to any metal bolt on the car (that is bolted into the body) -put both bulbs in housings -mount ballasts -connect harnes to ballast/bulbs/head light socket -turn on and enjoy Ignorance is bliss....305 fo life!...haha...Poser

White light reflects the most so the closer you can stay to 5000K (that's mine ).....the whiter the light will be and the more VISIBLE light will be emitted.
